Description: This is a blue cachet with head and shoulders portrait of Princess Elizabeth, in a vertical rectangular frame with various sized circles outside the frame on the left and right and small crowns in the bottom left and right corners. Text above the portrait is 'COMMEMORATING THE/ Royal Wedding/ NOV. 20th 1947' and text below the portrait is 'FIRST DAY COVER/ JAN. 15th 1948.' Note that this is an incorrect first day date.
